Hey all! I'd like to find a good home for my 535-24! Here are some specs:
MTD 535-24=5-string/35" scale/24 frets S/N #1036(I'm guessing that would make it an early to mid 2000's-'02-'05)
Mahogany body/Chechen top- 9.5lbs
Maple neck/Rosewood fingerboard -19mm string spacing
Bartolini Soapbars w/Bartolini 3-band EQ/Black Hardware
Comes w/MTD hardshell case- $2700 obo!

Saw this on TB, beautiful bass. What rig/amps are you running in the photo? I just picked up a Spalted 5'er 3 weeks ago. You may miss this one when its gone....

Yeah, I know! I'm thinkin' about keeping it...for now! LOL! Right now, I'm playing thru a Mike Pope pre/Crown power into an Epifani 610! Sounds AMAZING! I may switch up cabs soon tho...to some different Epifani's! I was using Acme cabs in the pic, which are also phenomenal, but a bunch heavier.

I am considering going with a pre and power amp like yours however Im not certain what manufacture to get. Is your Crown the XT 1000? Why did you choose that setup as opposed to another brand?
