My first serious wireless was the Sennheiser Digital 1000, the cord was the only weak link in that system, four channels in the 900-950 MHz region. Recently picked up an X2 Digital XDS95 which works quite well, five channels in the 910-950MHz region…

I'd never use one... One more piece of sensitive RF electronics to go wrong and I don't dive around on stage (or in the theatre pit/studio) ... ;-) I always found even the best ones muddied up the tone... Although in highschool, all the guitar pla…

Hey Everyone! I have never used, but I'm thinking of trying out a wireless unit for performances. Any tips on gear? I have been a big fan of just plug in and go, so this would be completely new to me. Thanks for dropping by!

Profile Information

MTD Basses I Own:
MTD Kingston Heir 4, Trans-Cherry, Rosewood Board. All stock, except for a few tweeks by Mike himself (thanks Kel!). I'll have pics soon.
About Me:
I am the bass player in the NYC Area Hard Rock Band "Silver Spade". I started playing the guitar when I was 8, then picked up the bass about 5 years ago. I bought a cheap epi t-bird as my first bass, and it quickly took a back seat to my Heir after the first time I played it. Needless to say, I sold off the t-bird, and never looked back. We are in the studio now, so I will have our new album out very soon so everyone can check it out and let me know what you think of our sound, and of course, my Heir.
Why I Joined MTD Bass Enthusiasts:

As for the new year, it has begun with sessions dedicated to getting ba… Continue
