Nice looking bass, way to go. It's going to be fun playing it. That B string looks pretty far from the edge of the finger board from the 5th fret on up. Is it the photo or the board a little wider than normal.

I am considering going with a pre and power amp like yours however Im not certain what manufacture to get. Is your Crown the XT 1000? Why did you choose that setup as opposed to another brand?

Sound clips were lame and not representative of what MTD's really sound like. Ashame the sound clips didnt match the write up nor the guy playing it show what it can really do.
