Mikael, I have not see you since around 1981 when we both graduated from Musicians Institute BIT. Wow, How have you been? Boy have we got some catching up to do!
Oh, I LOVE it! Totally worth the extra bucks...the tonal options of the ZX5 are head and shoulders above the Z5.
They feel pretty similar, and I still like how the Z5 sounds stock as well and have no plans to upgrade the electronics at this time. I still use it on gigs quite a bit and I take it as the main bass for any fly dates I do...no bag jockey is going to throw around or lose my beloved ZX!
Did you get rosewood or maple for the fretboard? I assume you're ordering from TPB? James and his staff are great to deal with, eh?
