I have been going through your Grooving for Heaven CDs and have found them very enjoyable. I was playing in a church for about 24 years and I'm finding that I have some areas in my playing that are week because I was just learning to play whatever they gave me and not concentrating on some of the other things I needed to learn. Your CDs are helping me catch-up. I never really understood the importance of reading until I was asked to play for "Joseph and the Technicolored Dream Coat". I found myself playing behind the piano watching the left hand. That is a skill that I've learned over the years and I don't recommend that they teach that skill at Berkley, but It got me by. Now I'm also starting to spend more time reading music.
Just the bass-ics,
Dave
Blessings- Norm
I'm booked in So Cal during your vacation, so must take a raincheck on the sushi offer; have a blast, though!
Running out the door...see you all soon!
Blessings- Norm
