I am considering going with a pre and power amp like yours however Im not certain what manufacture to get. Is your Crown the XT 1000? Why did you choose that setup as opposed to another brand?

About Me:: I play bass guitar in a constantly working(2 nights during the week and EVERY weekend!) local band called Spanky's Clubhouse in Indy! I'm currently playing my 2 MTD 535-24s and a custom-built Stuart Moye 5. Working on the rig now. I'll post pics when it's ready!

Why I Joined MTD Bass Enthusiasts:: I've been a fan of Mike Tobias' basses since the early 90's and it's cool to find like-minded fans! Now that I'm in a position, financially, that I can actually afford one(or 3!), I plan on taking full advantage! MTD 535 & 635...Here I Come!
